The vase on the left consists of five layers. The inspiration for the vase came from the bottom half of the more taller vases. I wanted to make something tha I could put things in like a pencil holder.

It stands about 5 1.2 inches tall.

The vase in the middle is the spiral vase pictured earlier on Page 2.

The vase on the right has a strip of maple sandwiched with two pieces of black dyed strips of maple. This piece stands 6 1.2 inches tall. It was one of my fvorite pieces to turn.
