This vase is made from apple wood. The tree was one of many trees that were blown down from a late winter storm. I have hollowed this vase to appoximately 1/4 inch in thickness and have applied an epoxy finish in the inside of it so it can hold water and not be damaged, it would make a great flower vase.

The vase stands 10 inches high and the base is 5 inches wide.

I love the contrasting colors of the white sapwood and the darkish red harwood of this piece.
